工作坊內容: 

由香港中文大學都市歷史、文化與傳媒研究中心主辦, 何鴻毅家族基金「藝術・改寫香港」項目贊助的「非聲香港」,將於12月17日(星期日)在元朗鳳群街公園舉辦「非聲香港嘉年華」,歡迎任何人士參與。活動内容包括非洲音樂Live Band Show、非洲鼓和非洲舞蹈工作坊、非洲約魯巴面具工作坊、非洲編髮工作坊、塗鴉藝術體驗及非洲文化藝術展覽等,與非裔香港人一同渡過一個自由而充滿非洲文化氣息的下午!

 

「非聲香港」計劃,特別聯同非裔香港居民,透過傳授非洲歷史地理、文化藝術等學術知識、跟非裔藝術家創作壁畫、排演舞蹈和音樂作品等; 從不同角度和深度,認識身居香港、與我們有著共同生活節奏的非洲裔朋友,藉以推進跨文化理解。

 此計劃由最基本的「聯繫人與人」出發,從大學校園一直到社區, 鼓勵參與者在相處交流之中發現彼此 -- 小至個人天賦, 大至文化背景等 ―― 以期摒除刻板的種族印象,為營造美好社區建立基礎條件。

 

參與「非聲香港」的香港中文大學和香港大學學生, 與一組來自聖公會白約翰會督中學的同學, 在9至12月期間一系列的工作坊及文化藝術活動中,與非裔藝術家互動合作,學習非洲的文化日常,並反思人 / 社區 / 世界之間相輔相成的關係。
